Azerbaijani Cultural Day Successfully Celebrated in Chicago
The Azerbaijani Community in America proudly hosted a vibrant and successful Azerbaijani Cultural Day on April 9, 2026, at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Held at Morris Hall, the event brought together students, alumni, and community members for a rich celebration of Azerbaijani culture, traditions, and heritage. Attendees enjoyed a welcoming and lively atmosphere filled with music, traditional costumes, and engaging activities.
Guests experienced authentic Azerbaijani cuisine, including beloved dishes such as plov, baklava, and shekerbura. The celebration also featured energetic live folk dances, an informative history and culture slideshow, and an interactive quiz game that encouraged participation and learning.
The event was hosted by Azerbaijani students and alumni and supported by ACMA, reflecting the organization’s ongoing mission to promote Azerbaijani culture and strengthen community connections.
