🇦🇿🇺🇸 A PROUD MOMENT FOR AZERBAIJAN IN THE HEART OF CHICAGO! 🇦🇿🇺🇸

On October 16, 2026, the national flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan was proudly raised in downtown Chicago in celebration of October 18 — Azerbaijan’s Restoration of Independence Day!

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan’s independence (1991–2026), a historic milestone symbolizing our nation’s sovereignty, resilience, unity, and determination.

Organized by the Azerbaijan Center of Midwest America (ACMA), this special occasion reflects the pride of the Azerbaijani-American community and celebrates the enduring friendship between Azerbaijan and the United States. 🤝🇦🇿🇺🇸

Seeing our beautiful tricolor flag flying in the heart of one of America’s greatest cities is a meaningful reminder that wherever we live, our heritage, culture, and love for Azerbaijan remain strong. ❤️💙💚

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who joined us in honoring this important national occasion and celebrating our shared values of freedom, independence, and unity.

🇦🇿 Happy Restoration of Independence Day, Azerbaijan!

Yaşasın müstəqil Azərbaycan! 🇦🇿

With pride and unity,

Azerbaijan Center of Midwest America (ACMA)
