Azerbaijani Community Meets with the Consul General of Pakistan in Chicago

The Azerbaijan Center of Midwest America (ACMA) had the honor of meeting with Consul General of Pakistan in Chicago, Mr. Tariq Karim, and Deputy Consul General, Mr. Saeed Ali, to discuss strengthening diplomatic and cultural ties between the Azerbaijani and Pakistani communities.

During the meeting, held at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Chicago, both sides emphasized the deep-rooted brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, highlighting their historical support for each other on the international stage. The discussion covered areas of mutual interest, including cultural exchange, community engagement, and future collaboration opportunities.

ACMA President Farid Mammadov expressed appreciation for the Consulate’s hospitality and continued support in fostering strong connections between both nations. He also extended a formal invitation to the Annual Iftar Dinner, which will take place on March 16, 2025, at Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago North Shore. The dinner aims to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan, bringing together diplomatic representatives, community leaders, and distinguished guests to strengthen interfaith and intercultural dialogue.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared values of unity, friendship, and cooperation, reinforcing the commitment to further strengthen Azerbaijani-Pakistani relations in the Midwest region.
