Welcome to the Azerbaijan Community Picnic!
We are delighted to share that the Azerbaijani community in the state of Illinois, came together on May 27, 2023, to celebrate Azerbaijan Republic Independence Day. This special occasion brought us all closer and allowed us to express our shared pride and joy in our heritage. The picnic was a resounding success, filled with laughter, delicious food, and memorable moments.
Organized by Emin Safarov and Ali Azimov, this event was a testament to the dedication and commitment of our community members. Their hard work and passion made this gathering possible, ensuring that everyone had a fantastic time.
The picnic took place at Shelter A, conveniently located at 28285 St. Mary’s Road in Libertyville, Illinois. This picturesque venue provided a beautiful backdrop for our celebrations. Surrounded by nature, we immersed ourselves in the festive spirit, enjoying the warm weather and the company of our fellow Azerbaijanis.
